So, I made it to Day 2 of the cleanse. Yesterday was a good start, but there is room for improvement. First of all, I didn’t drink enough water. The recommendation is half of your body weight in ounces. For me, that would be about 87 ounces. I don’t think I got half of that. Today I am doing better. Second, I didn’t eat much dinner, but I did go to the gym and do an hour spin class. I don’t like to eat before going to the gym and it’s too late when I get home.
Some of you may be asking why do a cleanse? Think of it as cleaning the lint trap in your dryer or changing the oil in your car. The idea is getting the bad bacteria out of your system and then replacing it with good bacteria, or probiotics. I have done cleanses in the past and I always feel less sluggish. They are a great way to feel healthy and I highly recommend trying this one.
